STORIES

From Sanayah's Mom

Dear Team,

I am writing this letter to express my sincerest gratitude and appreciation to Rocio and Antoinette, and the entire hardworking team of Adaptive Design. The equipment provided is a rocking chair, an activity chair and table and a dining chair. This equipment not only assists my daughter Sanayah Pinero in her daily activities and makes her life much easier with great safety features but it is also specifically designed for her medical conditions. They are a symbol of your team’s generosity and compassion for children with disabilities which I find to be exceptional and the best display of humanity.

Sanayah and I were in a very traumatic car accident June 20th 2015 which was caused by a collision from a drunk driver, which rendered Sanayah tetraplegic at the tender age of two. She was hospitalized for four months and after being discharged she was always back and forth in the PICU because of her fragile condition. She has no sensation from her diaphragm downwards and limited use of her hands along with other medical conditions. We have tried so hard but the insurance company and many other companies make it very difficult and expensive to acquire such items as provided by your company.

My daughter and I will always be grateful for your company’s dedication and support. This equipment has definitely made such an impact in her life and I can see improvement in the way she does things. She is getting better day by day and it’s because of people like you.

As a single parent of a disabled child who will always need expensive equipment I am extremely grateful and appreciative to adaptive design association, you truly make the world a better place.

Thank you,

Grateful Parent

Rena Surujdin
